We live in the moutains of Colorado, and even though it is only October, the prediction is up to a foot of snow tomorrow night! This means that our goats will be in the barn for a long time. They are intelligent animals who get easily bored. So my husband Mike, who is a good “goat dad,” is building them a climbing playground. It is not finished yet, but oh, how the goats love it already. They’ve been jumping all over the shelves, and playing with much felicity. They really know how to show appreciation for a gift bestowed!
So my life lesson learned from the goats today is to show exuberance when someone gives a gift. It sure brings a lot of joy and blessing to the gift-giver!
